Who we are
Jiangxin is a calculator app for aluminium and glass fabricators. It is run by ROBOTS HAND LTD (RC 8631301), a company registered in Nigeria, offices in Abuja, Kano and Lagos, Nigeria (www.robotshandltd.com) ("we"), and we are responsible for the personal data described here.

Who can use Jiangxin
Jiangxin is for people aged 18 or over. You confirm this when you create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and if we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 we will delete it.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, a password (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text), your name and phone number, and your business name, location and company registration (RC) number if you add them to your profile.
- Your work: the projects you save (measurements, cut lists, results, project name, owner and location) and your credit balance and credit history.
- Profile photo: only if you choose to upload one. It is shown only to you.
- Company letterhead: only if you choose to upload one, so your quotations can be printed on it. It is shown only to you and is deleted when you remove it or delete your account.
- Payment records: when you buy credits we keep the payment reference, the amount, the credits bought and the time. Your card or bank details are entered with our payment provider (Paystack) and never reach or are stored by Jiangxin.
- Security records: sign-in activity, the devices signed in to your account, and the time you accepted these terms, so you can review and sign out of them and so we can show that you did.
- Problem records: if a paid result fails to appear, a short error note is saved with your account, and any problem you report about a charge is kept with your reason, so we can check it and refund you.
Why we use it, and the basis for it
- To run the app for you – sign you in, calculate and save your jobs, keep your credit balance correct (needed to provide the service you asked for).
- To keep payment records and answer support requests (needed to meet our legal and accounting duties, and to look after you).
- To protect accounts and the service from misuse (our legitimate interest in keeping Jiangxin safe).
- For the things that are your choice – a profile photo, a company letterhead, or reading a photo of handwriting with AI – we rely on your consent, which you give by using that feature.
We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.
Photos of measurements (scanner)
The free scanner reads photos on your own device and does not upload them. If you choose Read handwriting with AI, that one photo is sent securely from our server to an AI service (Anthropic) so it can read the sizes, and the sizes come back to you to check. The photo is used only to read it and is not kept in your account. AI reading uses credits, shown before you confirm.

Fonts, PDF and QR code libraries are served from our own server, so no outside company sees your visit for those. These providers do not receive your projects. Some of them are based outside Nigeria and Ghana, so your data may be handled in other countries. We only use providers that protect data to a reasonable standard.
Cookies and storage
We use one sign-in cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage for small conveniences such as the last-used settings. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not record your screen or keystrokes.
How long we keep it
- Your account, projects, credits and sign-in records are kept while your account is open.
- While you are signing up, your details wait for up to 15 minutes for you to type the e-mailed code. If you never do, they are deleted.
- If you delete your account (Menu → Settings → Security → Delete Account) they are permanently removed. Safety copies (backups) may hold deleted data for a short time until they are replaced.
- Records of payments you made may be kept without your account details for as long as the law requires us to keep financial records.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, or give you a copy of it. You can edit your profile, change your password, turn on two-step verification and delete your account inside the app. For anything else, contact us as described at the top and we will reply within a reasonable time.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the data protection authority in your country: in Nigeria the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, and in Ghana the Data Protection Commission.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters to you we will update the date above and tell you in the app.
